Access 2007 and read permissions

Hello,
I am using Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0 with a 32-bit C# application on a 64-bit PC
and an Access 2007 backend.

The connection string works fine, however depending on where the database is located
Users - OK or Program Files - not OK, I cannot read all of the existing records. It
seems that this may be down to the admin permissions.

Is it possible to change the db permissions on the database via the connection string ?
(Changing the permissions via Access VB doesn't seem to work)
